Chelsea earned greater than double the prize cash from successful the 2026 Membership World Cup than Spain did from successful the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Softfootball gathered Spain gained £50 million for lifting the 2026 World Cup, whereas Chelsea earned £115 million for successful the Membership World Cup in 2025.
This has shocked followers and soccer lovers, as many consider the FIFA World Cup is the most important and hottest competitors in soccer, but the Membership World Cup winners earned considerably greater than the world champions.
Chelsea lifted the trophy for a second time by dominating Paris Saint-Germain in a 3–0 victory at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This was a historic milestone as they grew to become the inaugural winners of FIFA’s newly revamped, 32-team quadrennial event.
